Nivaasi operates tha platform which Enables property owners (“Users”, “You” or “Your”) to list and offer their hostel/pg/ /house/living-space/ (“Property”) on a rental basis to the tenants.
This Privacy Policy, inter alia, states the following: The type of information collected from the Users, including Personal Informationand Sensitive Personal Data or Information relating to an individual.
Use of content
All logos, brands, marks headings, labels, names, signatures, numerals, shapes or any combinations thereof, appearing in this site, except as otherwise noted, are properties either owned, or used under licence, by the business and / or its associate entities who feature on this Website. The use of these properties or any other content on this site, except as provided in these terms and conditions or in the site content, is strictly prohibited. You may not sell or modify the content of this Website or reproduce, display, publicly perform, distribute, or otherwise use the materials in any way for any public or commercial purpose without the respective organisation’s or entity’s written permission.
User Information
To avail certain services on our Websites and Mobile Apps, users are required to provide certain information for the registration process namely: -

Phone number and email address are mandatory for account creation. It is used to distinguish and identiy each user uniquely. The email address is used for sending important notifications and updates to the user. The phone number is used for sending OTPs for account verification and other important notifications
Tenant Information
If as a tenant, you're staying within an NIVAASI managed property, all these details (including your personal information, photos, and documents) is shared with your property owner for compliance. These details are not shared with any third party services and are only used by your property owner/manager to provide you your stay within the property. Every tenant can check their property owner's details inside their tenant app profile section.
Information Secutity
. We take extensive technical, and legal measures to safeguard Your personal data. The Platform uses a reliable SSL certificate to ensure Your personal data is not misused in any manner whatsoever. We use SSL encryption when transmitting certain kinds of information
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures, including appropriate encryption and physical security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data.
All information gathered on our Website is securely stored within our controlled database. The database is stored on servers secured behind a firewall; access to the servers is password-protected and is strictly limited.

Opt-Out RightsYou can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Data Retention PolicyThe Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you'd like them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at contact@nivaasi.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.
ChildrenThe Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (contact@nivaasi.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
SecurityThe Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
